Julianna Christman
Chair
Julianna first got involved with Reframed in June 2024 when she began attending Wednesday night line dancing and quickly came to love the community. Since then, Reframed has become a place where she has created close friendships and found a new appreciation for social dance. Julianna looks forward to continuing Wilder’s work of building Reframed into a space where people come not only to have fun learning to dance, but to find their community.
Eleanor Walsh
Vice Chair
Eleanor started attending contra dances regularly in early 2025, and she quickly became enamored with the joy and connection she felt at the Reframed events. She loves to dance and meet new people in a safe and positive environment. Beginning her career as a preschool teacher, Eleanor has worked for non-profits for over a decade. Her most notable role includes Executive Director of a 501(c)(3) school which led to her current position of administrative coordinator for a mission-based professional development organization. She loves having the opportunity to support and grow the Reframed mission, values, and vision.
Mari Leivan
Secretary- Safety Committee Member
Mari joined the Reframed community in January 2024 and immediately fell in love with the Tuesday Contra Dance classes. Her professional background is in industrial sales, but her true passions are urban fruit foraging, deep diving on Wikipedia, and making friends out of strangers
Sydney Lyman
Treasurer-Safety Committee Member
Getting her start with the Marietta classes, Sydney is so excited to be working with this team to keep Reframed running. She is hoping to use her “Marietta Welcoming Committee” personality and background in event and project planning to help Reframed grow and give people the same joy she’s received since joining.

Amber Koens
Amber began attending the Wild Heaven dances in July 2023, where she quickly felt a place of home with new friends, and still considers herself a beginner’s beginner. She has a BS in accounting, and has worked in banking for nearly 20 years. She enjoys volunteering in the community and previous board volunteer service includes feminist activist organizations as well as young adult education access.
Drew Allen
Drew joined Reframed in its early infancy and has been honored to watch the community grow. While he’s especially partial to Contra, Waltz, and Swing dance, his favorite part of Reframed has been the exposure to other dances and the community’s beginner-friendly approach to partner dancing. He hopes to help grow and maintain the welcoming atmosphere that convinced him and many others to stick with Reframed for so long. Just don’t ask him about mead or he may never shut up.
Jester Lee
I got started at the Wednesday caller nights and found my way to Tuesday Contra. I love the community I’ve found and am doing my part to queer it up/make it even more welcoming. I’m a haberdasher by trade and an aspiring bard.
Mikhail Nuriev
Beguiled by the promise of learning how to dance and making new friends Mikhail attended one of the first Reframed classes in Wild Heaven back in the early summer of 2023 and immediately caught the dancing bug. Wanting to get better and learn from some of the best Mikhail kept on attending Reframed dances consistently ever since. Through his exposure to a wide array of dance styles, Mikhail eventually found his affinity for West Coast Swing and has been diligently dancing ever since. He hopes to contribute in making Reframed fun and engaging for both Atlanta locals and people just visiting. He sees dance as an artful way for people to relieve stress, break up their mundane weekday nights, and meet people outside of their typical social circles.
Mit Bhavsar
Mit first began dancing when he joined Reframed as an OG in the summer of 2023. He has been most active in Contra, Kizomba, and West Coast Swing. He most appreciates the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere of the Reframed community. Mit has a background in engineering management and, as a Reframed board member, will be focusing on marketing.
